At Columbus Metro, our top priority continues to be the health and wellness of our members, our staff and the communities we serve. We are all in this together.
We know that the services that we provide are essential, and we are committed to serving our members while preventing the spread of COVID-19. To that end, we are currently assisting members through the drive thru lanes at our Gahanna, Reynoldsburg and Whitehall offices; by phone; and in-branch by appointment.
Our staff is going above and beyond in these challenging times, and we’re taking extra precautions to protect them. In addition to closing our lobbies, we are adjusting schedules and rotating staff to reduce the number of individuals in our offices at any given time.
We know that this is a difficult and uncertain time for everyone, and that many of our members are feeling the financial effects of this crisis. Given the CDC and government recommendations on slowing the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak, Columbus Metro has made the decision to close our branch lobbies effective Saturday, March 21.

We will still be here to serve you in the drive thru lanes at our Gahanna, Reynoldsburg and Whitehall branches; by phone; and in branch by appointment only. Our DSCC and DFAS branches are closed at this time.

While the chances of a relatively healthy person getting the virus are still very, very low, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the drive thru lanes at our branches as well as our convenient self-service options for the time being.

And our ATM machines and online services mean that we’re here for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Down Payment Assistance Up to $5,000

Columbus Metro has partnered with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati and its Welcome Home program. The program offers grants of up to $5,000 for qualified buyers to use towards a down payment and/or closing costs on a new home. Funds are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can help you apply for this program, provided that you meet the income guidelines and other requirements. Our mortgage specialists can answer your questions about qualifications and grant availability.                    

Welcome Home Program Details:

  • Funds are reserved for a specific buyer purchasing a specific property and cannot be transferred.
  • Buyers must contribute at least $500 of their own funds towards their down payment and closing costs.
  • Grant funds can be used with most loan types.
  • Recipients don't need to be first-time home buyers.

At Columbus Metro, we believe the highest compliment you can pay us is to recommend us to someone else. Now you can earn up to $50 each time you do, thanks to our new referral program.                        

You can refer almost anyone, as long as they live, work, worship or attend school in Franklin County. And there's no limit on the number of people you can refer. The more referrals you make, the more you can earn!                        

You'll earn $25 if your referral opens a qualifying checking account and $25 if they finance an auto loan with us. That's up to $50 per referral. What's more, your referral will earn the same amount.
