Welcome to MetroWeb, Columbus Metro's Internet banking service.
With MetroWeb, you have 24-hour access to all of your credit
union accounts from your home, your office, or anywhere you
have Internet access!
If you have filled out a MetroWeb application and received
confirmation of your MetroWeb setup, you're ready to begin.
Please read through the following information prior to signing
on for the first time.
Logging In
The MetroWeb login screen will prompt you for your username
and password.
-
If this is your first time logging on, you don't have
a username yet. Click the No username?
Click here link on the login screen to create one.
Once you've created a username, you can log on.
-
After entering your username and access code, you must
click Continue to enter MetroWeb. Once you click Continue,
you should see MetroWeb's main menu.
-
The first time you log on, you'll have the opportunity
to opt in to a service that will allow us to e-mail you
a temporary access code in the event that you forget yours.
We recommend that you opt in to this service; otherwise,
you'll have to call or e-mail us during regular business
hours to have your access code reset.
-
Each time you log on, a message will inform you of the
last time your account was accessed. When your account
is enabled for MetroWeb, a CMFCU employee may log on to
your account once to ensure that your access code
is working properly.
Entering Information
While MetroWeb is mostly point-and-click, you will be prompted
to enter dollar amounts and other information from time to
time.
-
Dollar amounts do not require a decimal point. For example,
to enter an amount of $103.57, you would type 10357. (The
only exception is if you are making a Visa paymentin
that case, you will need to enter a decimal point.)
-
Dates, where required, may be entered as 1/1/01, 1-1-01,
or 1-1-2001.
Personal Access Codes
You can ensure the confidentiality of your account by protecting
your access code at all times.
-
You may change your access code at any time select
Change Profile from MetroWeb's main menu, choose Change
Access Code and follow the prompts. Access codes are
case-sensitive; if you use letters, be sure to remember
whether they are upper- or lowercase.
-
For your security, we are unable to see your access
code once it's been entered into our system. Therefore,
if you forget your access code, we will not be able to
give it to you. However, we can verify your identity and
reset your code to a number that's unique to you.
Logging Off
When you are finished with MetroWeb, don't just walk away
from the computerbe sure to click the End Session button
on the main menu. If you're using a computer that others have
access to, this ensures that no one can come in behind you
and view your account information.
